One of the comments made in that video is that the FT-DX10's A/D is "audio grade" as opposed to the "much more expensive A/D" in the 710. I'm still puzzled over the advantage of one technology over the other. Yeasu FTDX10 has dedicated Width and Shift knobs, which I prefer.
